VBODMAS Rules Example 4 shortcut tricks

You all know that math portion is very much important in competitive exams. It doesn’t mean that other topics are not so important. But if you need a good score in exam then you have to score good in maths. A good score comes with practice and practice. All you need to do is to do math problems correctly within time, and only shortcut tricks can give you that success. But it doesn’t mean that without using shortcut tricks you can’t do any math problems. You may have that potential to do maths within time without using any shortcut tricks. But so many other people may not do the same. Here we prepared VBODMAS rules tricks for those people. We try our level best to put together all types of methods here. But it possible we miss any. We appreciate if you share that with us. Your help will help others.

 

VBODMAS stands for (Vinculum-Bracket-Of-Division-Multiplication-Addition-Subtraction) so when this type match are given we make a mistake to calculate and that which symbol we use first to calculate. Here some VBODMAS Rules and some Example where we use some shortcut tricks where we get original output quickly.
When you solve any mathematical equation, remember the VBODMAS rule and follow it religiously.

 

How do we remember?

B Brackets first Then
O Orders (ie Powers and Square Roots, etc.)Then
DM Division and Multiplication (left-to-right)Then
A and S Addition and Subtraction (left-to-right).Some Formula based on Indices.

  • (am)n = amn
  • am / an = am-n
  • am x an = am+n
  • am = bm = a = b
  • am = an = m = n
  • a0 = 1

 

Example : 
104 / 32 of 1 / 4 + 4 / 5 x 13 / 4 = ?
Answer : 
104 / 8 + 4 / 5 x 13 / 4 = ?
13 + 4 / 5 x 13 / 4 = ?
13 + 13 / 5 = ?
= 78 / 5

 

Examples :
412 ÷ 162 of 323 + 16 = 2?
Answer :
(22)12 ÷ ( 24 )2 of (25)3 x 16 = 2?…….{(am)n = amn}
224 ÷ 28 of 215 x 24 = 2?
224-23+4 = 2?
25 = 2?
? = 5
